I love photography.
I am a photographer based in Sydney. Specialising in event and portrait photography, I aspire to create photographs that can evoke the emotions of a moment long past. To successfully capture people’s expression of joy is an incredibly rewarding experience.
Choosing a photographer
It is very difficult to choose a photographer with all the choices around us. Unfortunately whether you go for the cheapest or most expensive, it will not guarantee the photographer is the right one for the job. Sometimes you may not even get the same photographer as the one who took the photos you saw!
Good photography is a combination of technical skill, creativity, awareness of ‘moments’, and attitude. A great studio photographer may be useless at an event. An events photographer may produce mediocre wedding photos. Even a good photographer may lose his touch if he books in 12hr jobs 3 days in a row!
Why choose me
The only way to know if a photographer can produce photos you want is by looking at their photos from similar events in the past. Unlike many other photographers who have a slideshow of only the best photos from the past 10 years, I regularly show full sets of my work for everyone to see. You know exactly what you can expect.
Unlike some other photographers I pick my jobs. Every job I take is one I want to do, and it will show in the results. I take pride in my work. Every image will be individually edited to achieve the best output. I will never rush process your photos, just so I can go out and do the next job.

My portrait shoots generally go for 2-3hrs. I recommend no shorter than 2 hrs, because it takes time for a person to relax and warm up to the camera. A professional model may only take 5min to shift into gear, but everyone else takes a bit longer. I have portable lights and backdrops, extra charges may apply to cover insurance and cleaning.
For family and baby photos I recommend setting up a space at home or in the backyard where the baby/children will be comfortable, or you can also use my home studio. Being relaxed is key to getting good photos in these situations. I do not provide props for these shoots, due to concern for hygiene and allergy issues that may arise for your baby, so it is best to bring your own.
All shoots include all post processing of the images to a final product. Images will be delivered via disc or email.
